DESCRIPTION:The FIRE-IN-THE-HOLE Cornhole Tournament \n\n\n\nJoin the Ferndale Chamber and Fire & Iron Motorcycle Club for a fun night of cornhole and comradery on Friday\, July 22\, as we remember our friend and a pillar in our community Whatcom County Fire District #7 Assistant Chief Dean Crosswhite\, who passed on Wednesday\, April 6th after a courageous battle with cancer.\n\n \n\nIn March\, we began planning a fundraising event\, Fire-in-the-Hole Cornhole Tournament with our friends\, Fire & Iron Motorcycle Club. After Chief Crosswhite passed\, we postponed this event and it has now been rescheduled for Friday\, July 22\, with proceeds going to the WCFD#7 Benevolence Fund.\n\n \n\nIf you knew Dean\, you know that family\, the fire department\, and this community meant everything to him. This tournament is a fitting tribute to the legacy he left behind and it is a chance for us to continue to support his family as well as other firefighters and their families should they find themselves in need.\n\n \n\nWe are grateful for all those who are sponsoring this event including: Ferndale Grocery Outlet\, BPOC Services\, Ferndale Mini Market\, RE/Max Whatcom County: Lindsay Rohweder\, FIrst Fed\, Bella Boutique & Consignment\, Hemplers\, Swinomish Casino\, Walton Beverage\, District Brewing\, FrinGe Brewery\, Outlaws Saloon and RB and Mikee McKeon.\n\n\n\nThe winning team will take home a $250 cash prize. Spectators are welcome\, you don't have to play to attend\, but you need to be 21+ and you need a ticket. Food and beverage will be available for purchase. We will also have a great selection of silent- auction items available to bid on.
