DESCRIPTION:The Ferndale Chamber of Commerce's annual Pig & Swig event scheduled for Friday\, September 15 has been postponed\, but for good reason...\n\n\n\nThe Chamber schedules many of its signature events months in advance and when we scheduled 2023 Pig & Swig earlier this year for mid-September\, we didn't know that the Ferndale High School football team would have its home opener in the new stadium this same day. Based on feedback\, we think that most of our community wants to spend Friday night watching the Golden Eagles and we'd like to show our support for that and not compete for attendance at our event.\n\n\n\nLast year\, Pig & Swig was held in November and it was a great success so we are looking at the community calendar for a date later this fall or winter to reschedule this event and will announce the new date soon.\n\n\n\nHope to see you all at the FHS Football Home Opener   GO GOLDEN EAGLES!\n\n\n\n____________________________________________________________________\n\n\n\nRound up your boots\, grab yer partner and put on your Ferndale best for an evening of BBQ food and dancing\, featuring the Lynden Line Dancers! From Rodeo Rhythms to Dance Floor Delights\, DJ MetaBridge Beats promises an unforgettable sonic journey at Pig and Swig!\n\n\n\nBe sure to start bedazzling those jeans because this year's theme is Denim and Diamonds!\n\n\n\nTickets are $50 each and includes one BBQ meal ticket - dinner provided by Where's the Food\, one drink ticket at our bar hosted by The Score Sports Bar with a special guest bartender\, and line dancing instruction from the Lynden Line Dancers. Must purchase your tickets in advance.\n\n\n\nThis event is a fundraiser for the 2024 Flower Basket Program.
