About Us
Friends of the Ferndale Library (FOFL) promote the Ferndale Public Library by sponsoring programs and special events, as well as raising funds for branch needs. These funds are raised primarily through the sale of donated books. FOFL volunteers process book donations and display them in a small bookshop just inside the Ferndale Public Library building. The bookshop is self-serve and open during all library hours. FOFL works in conjunction with the Whatcom County Library System promoting the love of reading, connecting information, ideas, and community.
