53rd Annual Festival of Flags and Remembrance Ceremony

Please join our Moles Farewell Tributes family for what has become Whatcom County’s Memorial Day tradition – the 53rd Annual Festival of Flags and Remembrance Ceremony! All of the weekend's events take place at Greenacres Memorial Park at the corner of Axton & Northwest in Ferndale, starting with the impressive Avenue of Flags lining our pathways- over 1700 Veterans’ flags! We’ll have festival music and food kicking off at noon followed by the 2PM Remembrance Ceremony. This year we honor in particular those that served in the Korean War with a special unveiling of the new Korean War Memorial. There will also be the always breathtaking flag delivery by DHS Helicopter and dove release, fun kids activities and crafts and various booths with information for our local Veterans.
