Dog Days of Summer 5K Walk/Run Sunday, August 21st at Lake Padden Park Race starts at 10:00am Calling all Super Dogs! Bring your Super Human Friends for a dash around Lake Padden to help benefit the Whatcom Humane Society On your BARK, get set?GO! Form a team or walk/run solo. A Family and Dog Friendly Event Competitors: Top Dog prizes awarded to the top finishers in the men?s, women?s, over 60 and kids divisions. Non-Competitors: Enjoy a jog or walk around the lake. Everyone gets a Swag bag and dogs get bandanas! Registration: ? Pre Registration-Individual: $20 ? Registration at the event: $25 ? Team: 3-5 members $60, 6-10 members $100, 11-20 members $125. Must preregister for team participation ? No cost for the dog and will receive a superhero bandana. ? Superhero costumes encouraged. After the 5K Walk/Run, stick around for the Dog Days of Summer Festival. It is a Free family and canine friendly event.
