I have been a financial advisor with Edward Jones for 15 years, serving clients in Whatcom County for almost 20 years. In order to better serve my clients, I earned the CFP® certification. To gain certification, a financial advisor must pass the CFP® Certification Examination and the CFP Board’s Fitness Standards for Candidates and Registrants, agree to abide by the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and comply with the Financial Planning Practice Standards.
I focus on serving people who are considering retirement in the next five to ten years, as well as current retirees who need guidance on how to improve their financial wellbeing. I utilize an established process that helps me understand what is most important to my clients and construct measurable objectives tailored to their circumstances. Once the strategies are implemented, I partner with my clients throughout their lives, informing them of any developments, as well as addressing any needs or changes in their situations. In order to provide holistic advice, I work closely with tax professionals and estate planning attorneys.
