Paint The Town Pink 5K

We are inching our way closer to springtime, and here at the Chamber that means we are thinking about our beloved Flower Basket Program and the pink baskets that line Main Street. 
 
This year, we are excited to bring back one of our previous Chamber events - the spring fun run - with a bit of a twist - this year we are hosting a Paint the Town Pink 5K with the proceeds of the event benefitting our Flower Basket Program. The run will take place on Saturday, April 29 - kicking off at NOON at Pioneer Pavilion. Runners will make their way through downtown Ferndale before ending at FrinGe. 

Registration is $35 and all ages are welcome. Check-in begins at 11 am, race starts at 12 pm and finishes at FrinGe Brewing. Prizes issued for First Place Adult, First Place Youth and Fastest Dog.

ROUTE INFORMATION

REGISTRATION: Pioneer Pavilion Community Center Parking Lot, 2007 Cherry St.

START: The route will begin at Pioneer Pavilion Community Center, heading up Centennial Riverwalk Park to Main St. where runners will then cross Main St. bridge to Hovander Road.

The route then leads alongside the Nooksack River, cutting across Hovander park and continuing onto River Lea Road where they will then turn left onto Nielsen Ave heading back onto Hovander Road.

Runners will then make their way back across the Main St. bridge, back down the Riverwalk to Cherry Street to the Start Line. Runners will then turn right onto Cherry St., heading West, crossing 1^st and 2^nd Ave., then turning Right onto 3^rd Ave. finishing at FrinGe Brewing.

FINISH: FrinGe Brewing, 5640 3^rd Ave.
