Session 2 of a 3 event series call "Essential Communication Tools for Leaders". You can attend one, two or all three events Session 2: Receiving Feedback: The Approachable Leader. If you haven’t received honest feedback about your leadership lately, it might mean you’re not approachable enough! This session will give you a window into how approachable you are and skills to increase the likelihood that your staff will talk TO you instead of about you. Laura Todd Laura has over 25 years’ experience in leadership development, coaching and training in large companies, non-profit organizations, and entrepreneurial organizations. She helps teams and groups come together through retreats, expert facilitation, and transformative workshops. Laura coaches leaders and their teams to create a symphony of success. Laura has an M.A. in Education, Counseling and Guidance and is certified as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach. Laura lives in Bellingham with her family and is found practicing yoga and hiking and biking on the local trails. Sarah Murphy-Kangas Sarah Murphy-Kangas is an organizational development practitioner, providing coaching, mediation, and group facilitation services to clients. Sarah specializes in helping caregiving organizations find resilience and wholeness in the midst of difficult work. She has an M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Antioch University Seattle and a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Washington. Sarah lives with her family in Bellingham, Washington, and enjoys cooking, writing and reading poetry, and everything to do with kitchen life.
