The festival is designed as an intergenerational celebration of Japanese culture and the ephemeral beauty of iconic Japanese flowering cherry trees. Events are intentionally formatted for families with an emphasis on fun, educational and engaging opportunities for children. The festival will include music, Japanese art and textiles, traditional tea ceremonies, Origami, Kirigami, Kamishibai (paper theater), Bonsai and Ikebana demonstrations, a silent auction and more. For your convenience there are both scheduled events and ongoing activities.
