Shibori!

Textile artist and fashion designer Renee Sherrer, owner of Social Fabric Textile Gallery, Boutique and Learning Facility will teach the ancient art of shirbori, Japanese shaped resist dyeing. You will discover the wonders of creating beauty with one of the world's most revered fabrics and time-honored Japanese silk art modalities. Each participant will take home enough shibori squares to form a booklet, collages, note cards or for use in other creative ways limited only by your imagination.  This is in conjunction with the Ferndale Cherry Blossom Festival.
